The Origin Story
Jacob Fedosky founded Domain Name Solutions in 2010 on accident.
He was a senior in high school and found two ways to earn income: building websites for local businesses, and re-selling domain names. The two paths converged when a web design client needed help with a domain name acquisition and turned to Jacob; they had grand plans for their new brand and didn’t want to show their cards too early by directly reaching out to the owner of the URL.
That first acquisition was overwhelmingly successful, and Jacob began working with a small handful of clients who needed regular representation in domain name acquisitions.
DNS Today
Jacob continued to work with a select number of clients throughout high school and college, and into his career. He spent 5 years in management consulting and 2.5 years in private equity, all the while helping his clients acquire millions of dollars worth of domain names.
In 2022, he left his job, formalized the Domain Name Solutions brand, and began accepting new clients.

For me, buying domain names is a blast. It’s one of the few “dealmaking” activities where you can find a true “win-win-win”.
My clients win because I’m able to help them acquire a mission-critical / must-have URL.
The domain owner wins because they are able to monetize an asset that, in most cases, is being underutilized.
And DNS wins because our fees are tied to our client’s success.
Yes… being a “domain name buyer’s broker” is super specific and super nichey, but it’s a ton of fun for me and I love helping my clients succeed.
